Nearly 100 houses inundated in Camp Korona, CM's constituency awaits help

The locals neither have potable water nor food

NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – Nearly 100 houses by Tuesday have been affected in Camp Korona area after water level rose in River Kabul destroying crops grown on thousands of acres.
The locals are shifting to safer places after their houses were inundated. It is pertinent to mention here that Camp Korona comes in Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif’s constituency. The affectees are awaiting help from the government three days into the issue.
The locals neither have potable water nor food. Motorway police personnel have distributed water bottles among the affectees.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Shaukat Yousafzai did not bring aid but had his pictures clicked while distributing relief goods brought by motorway police.
