After causing destruction in southern Punjab, raging waves of water are entering Sindh

LAHORE (Web Desk/ Dunya News) – Raging river of Indus spread its wave of destruction as water waves entered several settlements on Monday. Water levels in Guddu and Sukkur barrage have reached high levels while rains in Talagang caused a dam to be broken which in turn caused damage to vast areas of land, reported Dunya News.

After causing destruction in southern Punjab, raging waves of water are entering Sindh. Ruination can be seen in Muzzafgarh, Jatoi, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sadiqabad.

Water level has risen to a dangerous level in Guddu and Sukkur barrage. Flood has also badly affected Dadu, Ghotki, Kandh Koth and Larkana.

On the other hand flood streams have also filled up to their capacity during the floods whereas due to rains, a minor dam broke in Talagang which caused water to enter the nearby villages.

Meanwhile in Gilgit-Baltistan, torrential rains and land sliding have caused a youngster’s death while more than 10 houses have been demolished.
