Karachi: 4 terrorists killed in encounter with Rangers
At least four terrorists were killed in an armed encounter with Rangers near Kathor Sea Toll Plaza.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, Rangers conducted a raid on Thursday on a tip-off that terrorists were present in the area of Kathor Sea Toll Plaza. The militants of a banned outfit opened fire at the raiding party. The Rangers returned the fire as a result four terrorists were killed.
The dead terrorists were identified as Asif alias Ajmal, Amir Khan, Abdul Wasim alias Chanay Wala and Younus alias Kalia. Arms were also recovered from their possession.
On the other hand, police arrested eight accused involved in murder of an advocate of Sukkur High Court during an operation in Karachi. Police have also arrested two accused after an encounter near Light House at MA Jinnah Road and recovered stolen motorcycle and mobiles from their possession.
