The Indian Foreign Minister S.M Krishna called on with President Asif Ali Zardari at the Presidency. Both leaders discussed the security situation prevailing in the region along with terrorism and other issues of mutual concern.Pakistani and Indian foreign ministers meeting has been started in Islamabad in an attempt to restore trust and confidence in the relationship of both the countries. According to sources, anti-terrorism, Kashmir, water row and other key issues are being discussed in the meeting. Indian foreign minister S.M Krishna says he wants to resolute all the issues through bilateral talks. Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna arrived in Islamabad yesterday on a three-day visit. Earlier, Foreign office Spokesman Abdul Basit said there was no fixed agenda for the meeting but all issues including Kashmir, water and terrorism would be discussed by the two foreign ministers. Pakistan is also expected to handover a dossier regarding Indian intervention in Waziristan and Balochistan. He said that Kashmir is core issue between the two countries and it should be resolved. India ended the talks process after Mumbai attacks. Now, there is world pressure on India and Pakistans importance has also been admitted at the international level and India had also pressure from Kashmir side. But it is unfortunate that India has started blaming Pakistan along with starting dialogues. It seems that India is forced to sit on negotiating table; otherwise it had intentions to do this. Zaki said that he is not very much hopeful that India is serious about solving problems. He said that India stopped talks process after Mumbai attacks and tried its best to defame Pakistan but when the world foresaw that Pakistans role is vital to establish peace in Afghanistan, it put pressure on India to start talks. Answering a query, Zaki said that on Kashmir issue, India has already told that its her internal matter. He said that it is the best chance to present Pakistan view point on Kashmir issue and international community will know that Pakistan wants to solve the issues, but India isnt. Zaki said that India is raising issue of terrorism but it is involved in such activities in Afghanistan, Waziristan, Balochistan and other areas. He urged that Pakistan should raise Indian interference issue in the talks. He said that there is no chance of war between the two countries, only talks can resolve the matters. But Indian home secretary said a day before the talks that ISI was involved in Mumbai attacks. This statement shows that India wants to keep focus on terrorism issue. He said that Pakistan banned Jamatud Dawa for India that Indian officials want to show this to their people. Talks can produce good results: Jyoti Senior Indian Jyoti Malhotra while talking to Dunya News said that these talks can produce good results but the most significant thing is that the talks have been resumed after Mumbai attacks. She said that there are transport and visas issues along with other issues to be discussed in the FMs talks. She said that Afghanistan is also a big problem. She said that Pakistan has old ties with Afghanistan but Indian has spent a lot of money in this country. She said that Afghanistan issue will not come under discussion but a separate meeting should be held in this regard. Answering a query of Moeed Pirzada, she said that Pakistan is too fighting terrorism but it does not to stop cross border terrorism. She said that she is talking about Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jamatud Dawa.
