Law and order situation better in Balochistan: Army chief
Will assist those laying arms to come back into the national mainstream, says General Raheel Sharif
QUETTA: (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has on Friday said that the law and order situation is getting better in Balochistan. He said that those laying arms will be assisted in coming back into the national mainstream, reported Dunya News.
On his visit to Southern Command Headquarters, Army chief was briefed about the law and order situation in Balochistan. The general appreciated the efforts of the law enforcing agencies and said that the situation has gotten better. He said that the army will completely support the Balochistan government and people in their efforts for peace and prosperity.
General Sharif said that those laying arms will be given complete cooperation in returning to the national mainstream.
Praising the Frontier Works Organization’s (FWO) efforts to improve the road network in Balochistan, Army chief ordered to expedite the process and complete all the projects on time.
