SC Commission should conduct summary trial of corruption cases: Shujaat
Hearing of the summary trial should start and end in 12 hours, said Chaudhary Shujaat
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chaudhary Nisar proposed for a speedy formation of a Supreme Court (SC) commission for summary trial of 150 cases of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday. He said that hearing of the summary trial should start and end in 12 hours, reported Dunya News.
Commenting on SC’s decision to take up NAB’s list which contains up to 150 cases, Chaudhary Shujaat said that Supreme Court should form a commission for summary trial which should give its decision in 12 hours after open hearing.
He said that if his advice is listened, the issue may never come up again.
Offering himself as the first person who cases should open, Shujaat Hussain said that such step will ensure fairness to all.
