Imran Khan alleged ECP, ROs of rigging but failed to produce evidence, says Federal Minister

FAISALABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali has on Sunday said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan lied about the infamous ’35 punctures’ and should be disqualified therefore. He said that the PTI Chairman alleged Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Returning Officers (RO) of rigging but failed to produce any evidence, reported Dunya News.

Talking to media on his visit to Children Hospital in Faisalabad, Abid Sher Ali said that Imran Khan is a product of lies. He said that Imran Khan continued the ’35 puncture’ mantra for two years and now apologized. “PTI Chairman should be disqualified for telling record number of lies during the last 2 years”, said Abid Sher Ali.

Minister of State said that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) will sweep the local body elections.

Responding to a question, Abid said that the government is carrying on with its operation against the terrorists. He said that terrorism will be completely eliminated and claimed that target-killing has dropped by 90% in Karachi.

Commenting on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, PML-N leader said that Altaf Hussain is a British national and cases against him are also being pursued in United Kingdom. He assured that Pakistan government will fully cooperate with the British government in this matter.
