Firdous Aashiq Awan resigns as Vice President PPP Punjab

PPP doesn't need homeopathic tablets, it needs a major surgery, says former Minister for Information
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Aashiq Awan has on Friday resigned as Vice President Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab. She said that the PPP cannot be cured with homeopathic tablets, it needs surgery, reported Dunya News.
Holding a press conference today at the Karachi Press Club, Awan said that she is a doctor and knows which diseases need surgery. She said that the PPP needs a surgery to be cured. “If people are leaving the party, there has to be something wrong. I have informed Co-Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of my concerns and I hope that he will make important decisions to satisfy the workers”, she added.
Former Minister said that the entire party is suffering due to the mistakes of Sindh government. “We’re all just trying to save Sindh government. That’s what our politics is these days”, she said. Awan said that PPP’s double standards are ruining it. “An opposition party trying to save the government is digging its own grave”, she concluded.
