Killa Abdullah: FC, Railways Police free train hostages, arrest smugglers
The security forces seized heavy amount of smuggled items that included tyres and clothes
QUETTA (Dunya News) – The Frontier Corps (FC) and the Railways Police on Friday have arrested as many as 16 smugglers from a train in a combined operation in Killa Abdullah.
According to the FC Spokesperson, smugglers hijacked the train enroute to Quetta from Chaman and held staff hostages.
The FC and the Railways Police conducted an operation to free the hostages and apprehend the culprits. The security forces stopped the train near Shehla Bagh area and arrested the criminals. However, in a failed attempt of resistance, smugglers thrashed personnel with stones.
The passengers were safely transported to Quetta under FC’s supervision.

The FC Inspector General (IG) lauded the successful operation however, the criminals are being investigated.
