LHC reserves verdict on Ayyan Ali's bail plea

The verdict in Ayyan's money laundering case is likely to be announced at 1pm.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday has reserved the verdict on supermodel Ayyan Ali’s bail plea in money laundering case, Dunya News reported.

As per details, Justice Abdul Sami Khan heard the case during which the accuser’s counsel stated that a fake case has been filed against his client as no boarding pass was asked from her while travelling to Dubai.

State’s lawyer told the court that Ayyan Ali was apprehended under the article-7 of customs court and was nabbed before departing for Dubai.

The court, after hearing the arguments, reserved verdict on Ayyan’s bail petition that would likely to be announced at 1 pm.

On the other hand, Judicial remand of supermodel Ayyan Ali has been extended till July 6 in money laundering case.

 Ayyan Ali was taken to the Rawalpindi’s customs court in armored car for hearing during which the accuser’s counsel pleaded before Justice Rana Aftab to extend the case hearing for two weeks. The court rejected the plea and directed the lawyers for arguments regarding the indictment of Ayyan Ali in next hearing.

Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing till July 6.
