Peshawar: Doctors' protest at Lady Reading Hospital enters second day
All the staff went on strike, leaving the patients on their own.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Strike of Doctors and paramedical staff of Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar has continued to second day against the violence by relatives of a patient that died, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
According to the details, relatives of a patient that had died on Thursday in the hospital had thrashed the staff members, upon which the staff not only closed the OPD but also the emergency services. They also protested inside the hospital’s premises.
All the staff went on strike, leaving the patients on their own.
Patients had to suffer due to this strike by the doctors and the paramedical staff.
Moreover, the protesting staff announced to continue protest till the arrest of the culprits.
