Bus-tanker collision in Muzaffargarh claims four lives, injures 50
Rescue teams did not reached the scene even after several hours of the accident.
MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – At least four people got killed and more than 50 sustained injuries on Friday in a collision between passenger bus and tanker on National Highway near Hamzay Wali in Muzaffargarh, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the passenger bus enroute to Mansehra from Karachi collided with a tanker due to fast speed as a result of which two passengers died on the spot whereas two succumbed to injuries on way to hospital.
The injured were immediately shifted to civil hospital however, due to lack of doctors, paramedical staff and beds 29 severely injured were transferred to Nishtar hospital.
Rescue teams did not reached the scene even after several hours of the accident.
Local police and residents shifted the wounded to hospital under self-help in private cars.
The police have stated that action will be taken against the responsible after investigation.
