Pakistan to raise issue of Indian leaders' threatening remarks at international forums

Threats have exposed real face of India, the FO spokesperson said.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Foreign Office Spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah on Friday said threatening statements of Indian leaders will be taken before the United Nations and all other international forums.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the FO spokesperson said these threats have exposed real face of India which claimed to be a secular state.

He said the issue of the Indian threats and confrontation was also discussed in the ongoing conference of Pakistani envoys in Islamabad. He said the Prime Minister directed the envoys to brief the foreign countries regarding aggressive designs of India.

Khalilullah said the conference also reviewed the foreign policy of the country and proposals to make it more effective.

He said the envoys also discussed in length the proposed China Pakistan Economic Corridor besides various projects to be worked out with the cooperation of Central Asian States. He reiterated the resolve to complete the Corridor terming it vital for ensuring speedy and sustainable development of the country.

The spokesperson said Pakistan is peace loving country but will take every step to ensure protection of its interests and integrity.

He said Pakistan knows how to deal with any threat and has the capacity to respond anyone in befitting manner.
