Senate passes resolution condemning Indian leaders' anti-Pakistan remarks

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Senate on Thursday has unanimously passed a resolution condemning the recent provocative and hostile statements from prominent Indian leaders against Pakistan.
The resolution was submitted by Leader of House Raja Zafarul Haq.
The resolution said such attempts by India are unacceptable and Pakistan rejects this ongoing hegemonic mindset. The resolution emphasized that Pakistan will never allow its territory to be violated by India under any pretext.
The political leaders in Senate stated that Pakistani armed forces are fully capable to give a befitting response to any incursion and Pakistan people stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces.
Participants urged the international community to take note of such anti statements which negatively impact on the prospects of regional peace, sovereignty and stability.
The House resumed general discussion on the Budget for the year 2015-16.
Taking part in the debate, Usman Saifullah lauded packages announced in the budget for KP and solar tube-wells and incentives for construction industry.
Nasreen Jalil said that development outlay for Karachi be enhanced according to the proportion of population upto at least fifteen percent.
The Senate resumed its session in Islamabad today with Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani in the chair.
