LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Blind people on Monday took to streets once again for their demands. After protesting outside Lahore Press Club, they staged a sit-in outside Punjab Assembly, reported Dunya News.

Blind people have been protesting for their demands for several months but the demands have not yet been met despite repeated assurances by the government. Blind people gathered today outside Press Club first and then marched towards Punjab Assembly where they staged a sit-in at Faisal Chowk, blocking the Mall Road.

After staying at the Mall Road for a while, the blind people went on to sit outside the Punjab Assembly gate.

Protesters said that the government forgets their promises and they have been forced by the government to take to streets yet again.
