Dunya Media Group takes the lead to assist journalists
Praising its commitment, prominent journalist Kamran Khan also joined Dunya Media Group
LAHORE: Taking the lead, Dunya Media Group was the first to endorse and support the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists’ (PFUJ) demand to Pakistan Broadcasting Association (PBA) to ensure job security for professional journalists.
Other than seeking assurances from bodies like PBA, Dunya Media Group has announced to practically step forward to safeguard journalists’ interests in any possible way.
Journalists from across the country have led rallies in support of Dunya News’ stance that led PBA to also make an announcement.
Veteran investigative journalist Kamran Khan’s recent joining of the group as President and Editor-in-Chief is an affirmation of Dunya Media Group’s continued commitment to safeguard journalists’ interests.
Tweeting to his hundreds of thousands of followers and fans on social media, Mr. Khan said: “My reason : Dunya far from internal media war no controversies no allegations truly independent pure Pakistani and hiring Bol media workers”
