Data Darbar devotees chanted slogans against the incumbent government when Fauzia Wahab, Information Secretary of ruling Pakistan People's Party, arrived at the shrine in Lahore on Saturday. Fauzia, however, left the shrine after the crescendo. Local citizens and the visitors present at the shrine also reacted angrily when Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and former chief minister Chaudhri Pervez Elahi had earlier visited the revered Sufi shrine. The people said they will not allow any leader to take political mileage of the suicide attack at the shrine. The politicians seeing people's anger avoided to issue any statement during their visits.
