Daska incident: Protesting lawyers block Mall Road Lahore
In Gujranwala the Elite Force personnel ran away leaving the police vehicle in a strife
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The lawyers on Monday are demonstrating a protest outside the Punjab Assembly after Daska bar president Rana Khalid Abbas was killed by police firing earlier today.
The enraged lawyers have blocked the Mall for all kinds of traffic. The Punjab Bar Council has boycotted all the judicial proceedings on May 26 after the incident.
Separately, in Gujranwala the Elite Force personnel ran away leaving the police vehicle, in strife with the lawyers. The policemen performing their duties in a hospital were forced to leave the building after a clash with the lawyers.
In Multan the lawyers are demonstrating a protest against the incident. The Multan bar has borcotted the judicial proceedings.
Daska bar president’s killing has ignited clashes in different cities.
However, Chief Minister (CM) has summoned a report from the regional police officer (RPO) Gujranwala.
