He said improved party elections will be held following inquiry report

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk/Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Saturday announced interim organizational structure for the party, adding that improved party elections will take place following Justice Wajihuddin’s report.

PTI chief said that the new setup is temporary and that the improved party elections will be held. He said Dr Arif Alvi has been made the organizer in Sindh province and Chaudhry Sarwar for Punjab.

“All facts wouldn’t come to surface had the judicial commission not been formed”, he said.

Removing all existing officials, Khan has announced interim organizational structure. PTI chairman said that irregularities took place in the previous party election as noted in Justice (retd) Wajihuddin’s report.

He said it is highly likely that general elections might take place before the party election.

Addressing a media conference after party’s session in Islamabad, Khan said that former governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar has been made Punjab’s organizer, Dr Arif Alvi as Sindh’s while Azhar Farooq has been made party’s organizer for Islamabad.

He said he has sought timeframe for party election from Tasnim Noorani.

PTI chairman said that a musical chair is going on in Pakistan, adding that current setup revolves around politics in the name of religion, Pashtun or Baloch.

He said those who claimed to recover money from former president Asif Ali Zardari by burst-opening his abdomen have now come together.
