Three terrorists killed, 48 suspects held in Karachi
Law enforcement personnel have expedited action against criminal elements in Karachi.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – During crackdown in different areas of Karachi, the law enforcement personnel on Saturday killed three terrorists and arrested more 48 suspects, Dunya News reported.
Reportedly, Rangers personnel who were patrolling near Afghan Basti in Gulshan-e-Maymar were attacked by terrorists. The Rangers personnel strongly retaliated and killed three of them.
According to Rangers spokesperson, the terrorists belonged to a banned organisation.
Separately, four suspected terrorists were arrested during raid in Rizviya Society. Around 19 suspects were arrested during door-to-door search operation in Shah Faisal Colony and Alfalah area.
Another 12 suspects were detained in connection with Safoora Chowrangi massacre. They were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
