NA-122 case: Low standard ink was used in election 2013, DG NADRA tells court
Sardar Ayaz's counsel urged DG NADRA to file report after analyzing all the necessary elements.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) National Database and Regulatory Authority (NADRA) on Saturday recorded his statement in NA-122 case, Dunya News reported.
Justice Kazim Malik of election tribunal heard the case during which DG NADRA stated that low standard ink was used in election 2013 and that the process of verification of votes is not an easy task as it demands time and concentration.
NADRA officials told the court that the forensic report was prepared as per law and after verifying thumb impressions.
Sources have told that the counsels of Imran Khan restricted to give any argument on the report whereas on the other hand, counsel of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq advised the authorities to mull the report as the 6123 votes, declared fake by NADARA, have minor mistakes in ID cards.
He further lashed out at DG NADRA and urged him to file report after analyzing all the necessary elements.
