Disagreement intensifies between PM, Interior Minister
PM Nawaz and Chaudhary Nisar are not on good terms for the past 2 months, according to sources
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Disgruntled Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar skipped Karachi tour despite Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s wish, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.
According to sources, PM Nawaz sought Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar’s participation in conference called on Karachi tragedy however Chaudhary Nisar has decided not to participate in the conference.
After Interior Minister declared his unavailability for the meeting, PM sought for Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s participation to which the latter agreed.
Interior Minister was content to seek information from DG Rangers and issue condemning statement on the tragedy only.
According to sources, PM Nawaz and Chaudhary Nisar are not on good terms for the past 2 months.
Chaudhary Nisar has restricted himself to Interior Ministry only, it is learnt.
Despite sitting together in parliament’s joint session, no conversation was carried out by either of them.
