Investigation into KMB chairman's murder launched in light of Saulat Mirza's statement
The case of Memon's murder has been unsolved since 1998
KARACHI (Dunya News) – An investigation in light of executed target killer Saulat Mirza’s confessional statement has been launched into Karachi Matric Board chairman Ismail Memon’s murder. Key documents related to the case have disappeared, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a re-investigation has been launched following in light of Mirza’s statement. It has been found during the investigation that the case was closed under National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) whereas several key documents have disappeared from the case’s file.
The sources said that the police have started gathering case’s record from various courts. The case of Memon’s murder was registered in Soldier Bazar police station in 1998.
