PILDAT published annual report of the provincial government's performance, KP remains runner-up

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Punjab government has stood first in PILDAT’s annual report on the performance of the provincial governments. Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) government remained runner-up in the public survey, reported Dunya News.

According to the report published by PILDAT, 48% of the population, in a public survey, declared Punjab government’s performance as the best among all. Punjab government’s score remained 42% in the performance analysis of various departments of the government. Punjab also achieved 56% of its targets in curbing corruption. It also topped in tax collection but wasn’t able to control unemployment.

KP government remained runner-up according to the report. 33% of the people appreciated KP government’s performance. In performance analysis of various departments, KP government’s overall score remained 37%.

PILDAT report says that Sindh and Balochistan governments remained 3rd and 4th with 34% score. It says that none of the provinces could hold the local body elections except Balochistan. All four provinces also failed to achieve their targets of polio eradication. Education scores remained almost the same while Balochistan government took least measures to improve the situation in this regard.
