Imran Khan has called a meeting of his MNA and MPAs in Islamabad to discuss the issue

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Opposition parties of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly are divided on the issue of Chief Minister (CM) KP Pervaiz Khattak’s decision of sit-in in front of Parliament House on 12th of May. Imran Khan has called a meeting of his MNA and MPAs in Islamabad to discuss the issue.

Awami National Party (ANP) has agreed to participate in the sit-in while Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) refused to become part of Pervaiz Khattak’s sit-in. ANP leader Asfandyar Wali has issued instructions to his party’s members of assembly about the sit-in.

Provincial minister Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha said that sit-in does not suit the status of chief executive of a province. KP’s information minister Mushtaq Ghani said that federal government wants KP to become beggar. He said that the sit-in is not political, it is their protest against discrimination and to demand their rights.
