The breach appeared in the Hunza Lake due to blasting caused increase in the water outflow on Sunday. Both the boat and helicopter services have been resumed, whereas the lake level is down by one and a half feet. Change in weather caused decline in the water inflow to 20,000 cusecs, while demolishing of the houses has also been stopped. The locals however are protesting against the discrimination in carrying people to the other side through the boat service. They also complained of non-provision of life jackets.
