Government to start 337 Ramzan Bazaars in 36 districts of Punjab
Government will give subsidy on 11 commodities of daily use in Ramzan Bazaars
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Government of Punjab will open 337 Ramzan Bazaars in 36 districts of the province, summery of the plan was presented on Tuesday in a meeting held at Civil Secretariat Lahore. The meeting was chaired by Provincial Minister of Food while secretaries industry of food, agriculture, live stock, health and commissioner of Lahore participated in the meeting along with other officials.
It was briefed in the meeting that the mechanism to provide commodities on cheap rates will be strictly implemented. Secretary industry said that District Co-ordination Officers (DCO) will directly supervise Ramzan Bazaars.
It was told in the meeting that special teams have been made in order to make sure the availability of all commodities of daily use in Ramzan Bazaars. It was also announced that government will give subsidy on 11 commodities.
Police force and district government will make sure the security of Bazaars.
