Police apprehend woman for illegally grabbing property in Lahore
The suspect confessed to have told a lie of being a staff officer of Maryam Nawaz
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Lahore police on Monday detained a woman for illegally grabbing the property in Defence and also filed a case against her for misleading investigation officer.
The suspect, Khadija Bibi, was taken into the custody over the statement of house owner accusing her of grabbing his property by showing her identity as a staff officer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N’s) leader Maryam Nawaz.
The investigation officer staged an interrogation process during which, the accused confessed to have told a lie of being a staff officer of Maryam Nawaz as she wanted to take hold over the property.
Moreover, police sources told that a case has also been registered against her.
