Lahore High Court Monday dismissed the plea against the maintainability of a case challenging the holding of dual offices on part of the President. During the case proceedings, the court rejected the objections raised by federation and presidents counsel. Later, Talib Rizvi, Presidents counsel refused to appear before the full bench, saying that the court could rule in the case, as the latter is not ready to hear his arguments. He said that his client asked him not to appear before the court , and added that he would not pursue the case in future and the court is free to give its verdict regarding the said case.
