According to sources, the Prime Minister will chair a consultative meeting in Islamabad before issuing the statement. Military leadership will also be present in the meeting.
The joint session of the parliament has already passed a unanimous resolution to maintain neutrality in Yemen conflict and only support Saudi Arabia if there is any threat to its territorial integrity.
Saudi Arabia had asked Pakistan to provide ships, aircraft and troops for the campaign. The Saudi-led alliance began air strikes in Yemen against the Houthis on March 26 after the rebels, who already control the capital, began a rapid advance towards the southern port city of Aden.
Saudi Arabia is concerned that the violence could spill over the border it shares with Yemen.
