YDA announces to protest across Punjab on Thursday

Hundreds of doctors would take to the street, blocking the roads for traffic across the province.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Young Doctor’s Association (YDA) have announced to held protest across Punjab including Lahore on Thursday to fulfill their demands, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

According to details, YDA will stage sit-ins on Ferozepur Road, Lahore Canal, Jail Road and The Mall.

Hundreds of doctors would take to the street, blocking the roads for traffic in all the major districts of the province.

The doctors alleged that three years back they were assured of provision of service structure by the government but have not been endowed with yet.

The doctors have demanded the induction of doctors in BS-18 at the time of recruitment, raise in salaries, payment of salaries to 1,200 post-graduate trainees and release of stipend to the House Officers working in public health facilities who had don graduation from foreign or local private medical institutions.
