Bahawalpur, Southern Punjab faces torrential rains
Emergency has been imposed in all district hospitals
LAHORE (WEB DESK) – Many areas in Southern Punjab including Bahawalpur experienced torrential rains on Monday. According to Weather forecasts Islamabad, Punjab, upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh will face rain and thunderstorm, reported Dunya News.
Various parts of the country experienced rains which broke down the sweltering heat throughout the breadth of the country.
In Bahawalpur, winds measuring up to 120 kilometer per hour were experienced with heavy rain due to which several rooftops and wall were felled.
Emergency has been imposed in all district hospitals.
According to meteorological department, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad divison, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Quetta, Larkana, Sukkur divison, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir may experience thunderstorm with chances of rain.
In the previous 24 hours, most of the country experienced dry weather.
In Lahore, there has been a mix of cloudy and sunny weather.
