By-poll: Key areas within NA-246 constituency in Karachi
The by-poll has been scheduled on April 23 in NA-246.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – All the candidates contesting in the National Assembly’s NA-246 have geared up to hit victory on April 23, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) earlier announced by-polls on the vacant seat of Nadeem Gabol.
As per details, number of registered voters in NA-246 is 3,57,781 in which 1,96,187 are males whereas the number of female voters is 1,61,594. NA-246 holds great importance for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as the head office of Nine Zero lies in the Federal B area of this constituency.
Blocks 1 to 15, except block 13, of Federal B area are included in NA-246 whereas 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Liaqatabad have also been listed in the same constituency.
The areas of Musa Colony, Karimabad, FC area, Bhangoria Goth Muhammadi Colony, Ishaqabad, Sikandarabad, Bandhani Colony and Rajputana Colony are noteworthy in Karachi’s NA-246 while block 15 or Yaseenabad, 15th block of Railway Colony and Ghareebabad also exist in the same constituency.
