PTI decides to sit in Punjab assembly session: Mian Mehmood Rasheed
Mehmood Rasheed calls meeting on Monday to discuss future strategy of party
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Opposition leader Punjab assembly Mian Mehmood Rasheed has called the meeting of Provincial Parliamentary Party on Monday at 7pm to discuss the decision of participation in Punjab assembly’s session and future strategy.
Talking to media in his office on Sunday he said that the decision of going back to assemblies was taken with consultation and they will once again sit in assembly and do their share to serve the people of Punjab.
“We will raise our voice against the failures of the current government”, said the opposition leader.
Talking about the proposed meeting he said that they will discuss the recommendation about budget to present in Punjab assembly. He said that they were never a friendly opposition and they will not become one in future; PTI is the only real opposition party in Pakistan.
