Kanju's encounters prior to killing Zain

Zain has been in a number of disputes that will now be used in case against him
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Mustafa Kanju, key suspect in Zain murder case, reportedly used unlicensed and illegal weapon for aerial firing that killed passer-by Zain. The police say that the suspects have failed to submit license and evidence pertaining to legality of the weapon.
The police said they are still investigating from where the suspects acquired the weapon and whether it has been used in any other crime.
The police said that it has come up that Kanju had pointed a gun to his own brother’s head over property dispute three months ago.
He had also pointed weapon on WAPDA personnel some time ago and had beaten then up. The police said that the suspect would target people without any reason.
State Minister’s son had murdered a teenage in the outskirts of Lahore a few days ago and wounded another youngster.
The wounded victim Husnain had submitted the statement confirming that Kanju had fired the bullets. The police said Husnain is standing by his statement.
Reportedly, Mustafa Kanju has also stuck by his initial statement that even though he fired the bullets, he did not target Zain.
