Model Town tragedy probe: Rana Sanaullah fails to appear before JIT
The JIT ordered Sanaullah to record his statement on Monday instead
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Former law minister Rana Sanaullah failed to appear before the joint investigation team (JIT) probing Model Town tragedy on Sunday to record his statement.
According to details, Sanaullah was due to make a statement before the JIT but he failed to make an appearance.
The sources said that upon JIT’s inquiry of failing to appear, Sanaullah said he could not appear before the investigation team because of his busy personal schedule.
The JIT ordered Sanaullah to record his statement on Monday instead.
Home Secretary Azam Salman was also summoned by the JIT to record his statement. It merits mentioning here that Home Secretary will appear before the JIT for the first time.
