NA-125: Election material not found in various polling stations
Examination of votes and record of 10 polling stations has been completed
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Examination of votes and record of 10 polling stations has so far been completed in NA-125 and election tribunal was not to be found in various polling stations. Tribunal judge had conducted the recount of votes and inspection of the record in presence of the representatives of both the parties, reported Dunya News.
A 25-page report has been released on Friday in which the tribunal judge has stated that election material could not be found in some of the polling stations. Report says that while there were some polling stations where counter-files could not be found, the thumb impressions of the voters in Polling Station no. 94 and 109 were unverifiable. Record of the vote count in Polling Station No. 191 was also unavailable.
Khawaja Saad Rafique of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) had defeated Advocate Hamid Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) from this constituency in General Election 2013.
