Pakistan Day: Change of guards ceremony held at Mazar-e-Iqbal
The atmosphere was made patriotic by playing national anthem.
LAHORE/KARACHI (Dunya News) – A dignified change of guards ceremony on Monday took place at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal as nation observed Pakistan Day, Dunya News reported.
During the ceremony, Air Commander Hamid Faraz and Base Commander Pakistan Air Force were the chief guests who reviewed the activities of Army’s contingent and also laid a floral wreath at the Mazar.
The atmosphere was made patriotic by playing national anthem.
Meanwhile in Karachi, a tribute was also paid at Mazar-e-Quaid in which Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad and Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah participated. Both leaders expressed their views and lauded the sacrifices of security forces.
Moreover, armed forces laid floral wreath and offered Fateha at the mausoleum of Quaid.
