The people in Sindh would confront a new storm following cyclone Phet. A notification to increase public transport fares has been issued by the Government of Sindh. According to the notification issued by the transport department hike would be effective from June1.According to details additional Rs1 per stop would be charged in the cites while the fares of buses and rickshaws have also been raised by Rs 1 per kilometer. Buses operating on long routes in Sindh have been permitted to charge additional 10 paisa per kilometer. In the wake of decreasing international oil prices as well as domestic hike in fares is shocking for the masses.
