Fighter jets destroy several militant hideouts in Khyber Agency
Pakistani troops have been engaged in a full-scale offensive against Taliban and other militants.
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Military jets have destroyed several militant hideouts in Tirah Valley of Khyber tribal region on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
Number of militants killed in the airstrike could not be confirmed yet.
Last Friday, 48 militants were killed in the military airstrikes in Tirah Valley.
Pakistani troops have been engaged in a full-scale offensive against Taliban and other militants in North Waziristan and Khyber tribal districts along the Afghan border since last year.
Army and the government have stepped up fight against militants since Taliban gunmen massacred more than 150 people, most of them children, at a school in Peshawar in December 2014.
