Interior Minister says MQM praised army for sacrifice in war against terror, now abusing the same

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Saturday said that the profane language being used by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for Army and Rangers is getting to the limits of tolerance. He said that MQM was praising the army only a few days back for its sacrifices in war on terror, Dunya News reported.

In a statement from Islamabad, Nisar said that MQM had itself requested the government to hand over Karachi’s security to the army. “Does any other country allow such language to be used against its army?” questioned Nisar.

Moreover, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader from Taxila said that MQM could easily move to courts if it felt that its stance was right.
