JI Chief to take oath as Senator tomorrow

JI has yet not announced its new candidate for the vacant seat.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq will take oath as a senator tomorrow during Senate meeting, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

According to details, the seat of Siraj-ul-Haq as a party’s Chief will be vacant after his oath.

JI had eight seats in the KPK assembly before, which will be reduced to seven after the promotion of JI Chief in the Upper House whereas JI has yet not announced its new candidate for the vacant seat.

Moreover, Siraj-ul-Haq was successful from PK-95 Deer Lower-2 and had also served as senior provincial minister.
