Senate polls: EC directs successful candidates to submit details of electoral expenses
EC had allowed the candidates to spend a maximum of Rs 15 lac in terms of electoral expenditures.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission (EC) has directed the successful candidates of Senate to submit the details of electoral expenses in five days, Dunya News reported on Friday.
According to sources, the candidates who fail to submit the electoral expense details in five days will not be issued the notification of success in Senate elections.
Moreover, the successful federal candidates will submit their details in Islamabad whereas those successful from provincial assemblies will submit the details in their respective provincial offices.
Earlier, EC had allowed the candidates to spend a maximum of Rs 15 lac in terms of electoral expenditures.
