Sindh candidates likely to win Senate elections unopposed

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Seven candidates for the general seats in Senate are likely to win the elections unopposed, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari held a telephonic conversation with Pir Pagara and discussed upcoming Senate elections.
The PPP has signaled backing the Functional League candidate Imamuddin Shauqeen.
A meeting between Asif Zardari and Muslim League Function president Pir Saddaruddin Shah Rashdi is also expected today, sources told.

After the PPP’s support, all the candidates for seven Senate general seats from Sindh are likely to win the elections unopposed.
