Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Monday issued the notification of reduction in the prices of petroleum products. OGRA officials made this announcement in Islamabad during a press conference. According to the notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by by Rs6. 4 per litre while price of diesel has been slashed by Rs1.8 per litre. Kerosene oil price reduced by Rs 3.40 per litre, HOBC by Rs 7.15 per litre and light diesel price has been slashed by Rs 3.15 per litre. New price of petrol would be Rs 69.04 per litre, diesel Rs 75.72 per litre, kerosene oil Rs 65.49 per litre, light diesel Rs 62.61 per litre and HOBC price has been fixed at Rs82.04 per litre. The new prices would be effective from midnight May 31, 2010.
