Altaf telephones Rehman to discuss ongoing situation of country

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Sunday called on Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) leader Rehman Malik and lauded the efforts of Pakistan Army in combating terrorism and promoting peace in the country, Dunya News reported.
As per details, both leaders discussed the matters of politics, terrorism and ongoing situation of Pakistan’s economy.
On this occasion, Altaf Hussain acknowledged the continuous efforts of Pakistan Army and other military departments regarding the elimination of terrorist elements.
Both leaders urged Afghanistan to assist Pakistan Army in restoring the harmony in the region.
Moreover, Altaf Hussain and Rehman Malik denounced the brutal carnage of APS Peshawar, attacks on police lines and imambargahs.
