Shikarpur tragedy: Sit-in continues for 34 hours at Numaish Chowrangi
Shuhada Committee would engage in second round of negotiations with the government today.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sit-in to protest against Shikarpur carnage at Numaish Chowrangi in Karachi has continued for 34 hours on Thursday while Shuhada Committee would engage in second round of negotiations with the government today.

Government had offered the participants of the protest to hold talks in order to obstruct them from heading towards CM House. Members of Shuhada Committee held negotiations with the representatives of Sindh government. A six-member committee comprising members of either party was formulated and government ensured implementation of all demands. Shuhada Committee, however, decided to continue the protest unless and until the demands were practically met.
Shuhada Committee, today, has also invited other Shia organization to join the sit-in whereas the future strategy would be chalked out after the second round of negotiations with the government.
