Developments in Qaddafi stadium shooting case surface
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police have recovered mobile phone data of the murdered women and the shooter Bashir which has provided key facts regarding the crime.
A man named Bashir had killed 2 girls and their mother outside Qaddafi stadium Lahore and killed himself afterwards on Wednesday. Dead bodies of Farida and her daughters were handed over to their relatives after autopsy.
Investigation of Bashir’s background revealed that he was a psychopath and tried to commit suicide while in Malaysia. He spent 7 months in jail on suicide charges and was deported afterwards. Bashir was also under a heavy debt.
According to mobile phones data, it looks like Bashir was blackmailing Farida’s daughter. He had a CD of the girl which he was using to blackmail her. Police have found the CD from the vehicle but it was broken so it has been sent to the forensic laboratory. Police is expecting to get more helpful details from the contents of the CD.
