LAHORE (Dunya News) – Residents of Ghazi Road and Munawarabad, enraged over shortage of gas, staged a protest outside the regional office of Sui Northern Gas Private Limited (SNGPL) on Thursday.
Baton-laden women also participated in the protest whereas the protesters blocked the traffic.
Women told media that they have been using alternative sources like LPG and wood, which has been troublesome. They further complained that gas was not available in their area but they were being served gas bills.
Protesters wrapped up their protest after officials’ assurance.
