Anti-measles campaign begins in Punjab

The provincial government is spending more than Rs 2.70 billion on anti-measles campaign.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - A 15-day anti-measles vaccination drive has started in Punjab today (Monday) during which which more than 28 million children from six months to ten years of age will be vaccinated.

In a message on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed the health officials to carry out the campaign with the spirit of a mission. 

The provincial health minister has urged parents to extend cooperation to the Health Department during the anti-measles campaign and must get their children vaccinated.

Khwaja Salman Rafiq has also asked media to continue their support for spreading the health awareness to every person.
